Hello! I’m a freelance editor living in the Midwest, and I also work full time for a nonfiction publishing house, where I edit and format books and almanacs. I have a BA in English from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and have been editing since 2014.
I am an editor because I enjoy helping people create written works they are proud of. It’s wonderful to know that my work in the background can contribute to a writer’s success. I follow University of Chicago Press editor Carol Saller’s goal in editing: “carefulness, transparency, and flexibility.”
